"Transistorized Portable", Red Genuine Top Grain Cowhide with black trim and gold tone grille. It is Raytheon's first transistor radio and the world's second manufactured transistor radio.
7 transistors: CK759, CK760, CK760, CK721, CK721, CK721, CK721, 1 diode: CK706A. Chassis 7RT1 (Type 3). Uses four 1.5 volt "D" batteries. Cabinet is stamped "Jun 15 1955".
The first model had 8 transistors and chassis 8RT1.
